Our Founder Steve Dudeney DipFD MIFSM, MIFPO, GIFireE, TechIOSH had a 31 year career in the fire and rescue service culminating as Borough Commander for two East London Boroughs providing strategic leadership for the fire and rescue service within those areas. He was a senior fire safety officer, reporting on the compliance and status of buildings on fire and providing emergency out of hours response to fire safety infringements in a range of regulated premises. Steve is author of the book 'London Firefighter' and a regular media commentator of fire service related issues.
Ignis Fire & Resilience Ltd provide consultancy services for firefighting, fire safety and resilience. Our specialities are high rise buildings and counter terrorism. Steve is also a training provider and assessor for SfJ Level 3 & 4 Fire safety Auditors.

Steve is also one of the UK's most experienced experts in Firefighting and planning for high rise building fires. We are able to provide individual fire protection surveys and firefighting plans for a range of high rise buildings whether commercial or residential. As an experienced and qualified Fire safety trainer, Steve is also able to provide fire safety training for your organisation or personnel, including fire awareness training for residents.
